Most couples worry they do not have the space. Almost every Dubai home does — a living room with the coffee table pushed aside is plenty.

- One power socket for a small speaker and a towel warmer
- Building access — tell us the rules and we handle the rest

What couples say
after the room goes quiet.
We booked this for our anniversary and honestly I expected it to feel awkward — two strangers, two tables, our living room. It wasn’t like that at all. They arrived together, moved the coffee table themselves before I could offer, and had everything set up while I was still making tea. Same…
Couple Aromatherapy Massage in Dubai
Aromatherapy is the simplest upgrade on the menu and the one couples most often make permanent. The hands do the same work as a Swedish session — long strokes, kneading, moderate pressure, warmed oil — and an essential oil blend is layered into the carrier oil so that scent works alongside the technique rather than as decoration.
What makes it suit the couple format particularly well is that the blends are chosen separately. One partner can take lavender for sleep while the other takes citrus for a morning lift, on the same clock in the same room, with neither compromising on what they actually want. The therapists arrive with both.
This page covers what aromatherapy genuinely is, which blends do what, the allergy and safety questions answered properly, who it suits, and how the unscented option works for households where scent isn’t welcome.
What Aromatherapy Massage Actually Is
Aromatherapy massage is a Swedish session with essential oils blended into the carrier oil at a safe dilution. Both elements matter.
The massage. The full Swedish sequence: effleurage to warm and spread the oil, petrissage through the shoulders, glutes and legs, friction where a region needs it, and a full-body route from back and shoulders through legs and feet to arms, neck and scalp. Pressure is moderate by default and adjustable per table.
The oils. Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts — distilled from flowers, leaves, peel, resin or root — and they are never applied neat to skin. They are blended into a carrier oil at a low percentage, which is both the safe way and the effective way to use them.
The two routes of effect. Scent reaches the olfactory system directly, which is why certain smells shift mood faster than almost anything else. The oils also absorb through skin during the massage. Neither route makes aromatherapy a medical treatment, and we don’t claim otherwise — but the effect on how an hour feels is real and consistent enough that most couples who try it stop booking plain Swedish.
The Blends and What Each Is For
Lavender — the most-requested blend in the city and the sleep argument that works on almost everyone. Calming, familiar, unobjectionable to nearly every nose. If you’re booking an evening session and you want to sleep properly afterwards, this is the default.
Sweet orange, grapefruit and bergamot — the citrus family. Bright, lifting, better suited to daytime and morning sessions. This is the blend for the partner who doesn’t want to feel sedated afterwards.
Eucalyptus and peppermint — cooling and clearing. Booked heavily through the cool months when heads are blocked and chests are heavy, and useful year-round for anyone who wants something sharper than floral.
Chamomile and ylang ylang — the gentlest of the calming blends, and the better choice for anyone who finds lavender too strong or has simply had too much of it.
Rosemary, cedarwood and vetiver — the grounding, woody end. Less common, genuinely good, and the blend therapists tend to recommend to people who dislike everything sweet.
Blended for the occasion — rose, jasmine and sandalwood in the anniversary and celebration bookings, where the point is that the room smells like an occasion rather than a treatment.
Unscented — no essential oil at all, carrier oil only. See below; this is more popular than people expect.
If you don’t know what you want, say so at booking and the therapist will ask two or three questions at the door and choose. That’s a normal booking and produces good results.
The Unscented Option
Worth its own section because it’s requested more often than any single blend.
Unscented means carrier oil only — no essential oil in the blend at all. It is the standing preference for:
Households hosting guests the next day, where the majlis or living room shouldn’t smell of anything
Anyone with scent sensitivity, migraines triggered by fragrance, or asthma
Pregnancy, where most essential oils are avoided as a precaution
Anyone who simply dislikes scented products
Partners who disagree — one takes a blend, the other takes unscented, and the room stays acceptable to both
Flag it once at booking and it’s filed permanently. Every subsequent session arrives unscented without your needing to ask again.
Allergies, Sensitivities and Safety
This section matters, so it’s plain.
Declare allergies at booking. Nut allergies in particular — some carrier oils are nut-derived, and we switch to a neutral alternative on a word. Any known reaction to fragrance, essential oils or specific plants should be mentioned before the therapists arrive rather than at the door.
Pregnancy. Most essential oils are avoided during pregnancy as a precaution. The prenatal-adapted session runs unscented or with a very limited, pregnancy-appropriate selection, from the second trimester onward with a doctor’s approval, side-lying, at lighter pressure with the abdomen avoided. First-trimester bookings are declined.
Epilepsy. Some essential oils — rosemary and certain camphor-containing oils among them — are avoided. Mention it at booking and the blend is chosen accordingly.
Asthma and respiratory sensitivity. Strong blends can trigger. Mention it; unscented or a very light dilution is usually the right call.
Skin conditions and sensitive skin. Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or generally reactive skin: mention at booking. Dilution is reduced or the blend dropped entirely.
Citrus oils and sun exposure. Some citrus oils increase photosensitivity. If you’re heading into direct sun within a day of the session, mention it and the blend is adjusted.
Children. Essential oils are handled differently for young skin. Our service is for adults.
Blood pressure and heart conditions, or any ongoing medication: mention at booking. Certain oils are avoided and the session adapts.
We are a licensed home massage service, not a medical provider. Aromatherapy massage relieves muscular tension and supports relaxation; essential oils are used for comfort and scent, not as medicine. Nothing here treats, diagnoses or cures any condition, and nothing here is medical advice.
Why Couples Book Aromatherapy
Two people, two different preferences, no compromise. This is the real reason. Most couples don’t want the same scent, and the format means neither has to settle.
It makes an ordinary evening feel like an occasion. The same massage with a blend chosen deliberately reads entirely differently — which is why aromatherapy books heavily for anniversaries, birthdays and celebration evenings without costing more than a standard session.
It’s the best sleep-and-wind-down combination on the menu. Lavender over a Swedish base at ninety minutes is, by a distance, the most-repeated booking among couples who book monthly.
It requires nothing. No stretching, no undressing beyond a normal massage, no pressure to tolerate, no floor space. It’s the easiest session on the list to say yes to.
Who Aromatherapy Suits
Anyone wanting a restful evening rather than therapeutic work
Sleep difficulty and the wound-up end of a long week
Couples with different preferences who want both served
Occasion bookings — anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations
First-time massage receivers, where the format is gentle and familiar
Anyone who found plain Swedish good but slightly plain
Who Should Book Something Else
A specific chronic knot. Aromatherapy runs at moderate Swedish pressure. If the goal is a problem area, book deep tissue for that table — the other can still take aromatherapy.
Mobility and stiffness. Thai addresses range of motion; aromatherapy doesn’t.
Scent sensitivity or migraines triggered by fragrance. Take the unscented option, which is the same session without the element that would cause trouble.
Anyone who dislikes oil entirely. Thai uses none at all.
Aromatherapy Beside Another Technique
The couple format handles mixed bookings without complication, and the price does not change.
Aromatherapy beside deep tissue — the common split when one partner wants the wind-down and the other wants the work.
Aromatherapy beside hot stone — both restful, both Swedish-based, one scented and one warmed. A frequent cool-season pairing.
Aromatherapy beside reflexology — one full-body and scented, one seated and foot-focused.
Aromatherapy on both tables with different blends — the most common aromatherapy booking of all, and the one the format was made for.
Session Lengths
Sixty minutes covers the full body at working pace with the blend chosen for the evening. It’s the weeknight format and the most-booked length.
Ninety minutes is where aromatherapy is at its best. The extra half hour lets the pacing slow, the scent settle into the room, and the session stop feeling like a sequence being completed. Most couples who book aromatherapy regularly settle at ninety.
One hundred and twenty minutes is the occasion length — the anniversary evening, the celebration booking, the two hours set aside on purpose.
What to Expect During the Session
The therapists confirm blends at the door, checking allergies once more before anything is opened.
Oils are blended into the carrier at the start of the session, per partner, so each table gets its own.
The room will hold the scent for a few hours afterwards. If that matters — guests tomorrow, a sensitive household member — say so and take the unscented option instead.
The oil stays on the skin after the session. Most people shower in the morning rather than immediately, which lets the oils absorb. Either is fine.
Expect to feel notably relaxed rather than energised, particularly with lavender or chamomile. Plan the evening accordingly.
Pricing
One figure covers both partners. It includes both therapists, both tables, all linens and towels, carrier and essential oils, and the travel. It is quoted in the message before you book and matched at the door.
No surcharge for aromatherapy over plain Swedish, no charge for the essential oils, no per-therapist multiplication, no travel fee by area, and no late-slot premium. Two different blends cost the same as one.
Coverage Across Dubai
Couple aromatherapy runs to every area we serve — the coastal belt, the central districts, the villa belt, the eastern corridor, old Dubai, the southern reach and Sharjah.
Arrival windows vary honestly by distance: coastal and central inside about an hour, villa belt and eastern corridor around an hour and a quarter, far southern communities and Sharjah at an hour and a half with half a day’s notice. Each area page quotes its own window. The price is the same everywhere.
Frequently Asked Questions — Couple Aromatherapy Massage Dubai
Can we each have a different blend?
That’s the point of booking aromatherapy as a couple — lavender on one table and citrus on the other is a normal booking, and the price doesn’t change.
What if we don’t know which oil to pick?
Say so at booking. The therapist asks two or three questions at the door and chooses — it’s a common booking and it produces good results.
Can we have no scent at all?
Unscented is available on every booking and requested constantly — carrier oil only, no essential oil. Flag it once and it’s kept for every future session.
Are the oils safe during pregnancy?
Most are avoided as a precaution. The prenatal-adapted session runs unscented or with a limited pregnancy-appropriate selection, second trimester onward with a doctor’s approval. First trimester is declined.
I have a nut allergy — is that a problem?
Not if you tell us at booking. Some carrier oils are nut-derived and we switch to a neutral alternative on a word.
Will the room smell afterwards?
For a few hours, yes. If you’re hosting the next day, take the unscented option — it’s exactly why it exists.
Is it a different massage from Swedish?
The hands do the same work. Aromatherapy adds the essential oil blend to it rather than changing the technique.
Should we shower straight afterwards?
Most people don’t — leaving the oil on lets it absorb, and a morning shower is the usual choice. Either is fine.
