Pregnancy: the prenatal-adapted session runs from the second trimester with a doctor’s approval — side-lying, moderate pressure, abdomen avoided, no hot stone and no candle massage. First trimester declined.

Alcohol: a drink at dinner is fine. More than that makes the session less effective and rules out heat-based techniques entirely, since both candle massage and hot stone depend on accurate temperature feedback.
