We booked this for our anniversary and honestly I expected it to feel awkward — two strangers, two tables, our living room. It wasn’t like that at all.
They arrived together, moved the coffee table themselves before I could offer, and had everything set up while I was still making tea. Same music for both of us, same start time, so neither of us was lying there waiting for the other to finish. My husband fell asleep, which he never does anywhere.
What I keep telling people is what happened afterwards. Nobody rushed us out, because there was nowhere to be rushed out of. They packed everything away and the flat looked exactly the way it did before they came.
Only thing I’d change is that we should have booked the longer one.
